Twilight Saga fans may have June 30 circled as the premiere date for Eclipse, but Kristen Stewart offered her own exciting debut earlier today.

Prior to an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, the beloved actress showed off a new hairstyle meant for her upcoming role as MaryLou in the movie adaption of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road.

It’s short, it’s dyed, it’s elegant and it marks a departure from Kristen’s typically grungy look. We think it’s beautiful! Do you agree?

Ouch, Robert Pattinson. Ouch.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly for its upcoming Eclipse cover story, the gorgeous actor was asked about Kristen Stewart’s comments last month, where she compared the paparazzi to rapists.

While Kristen herself saw the error in her word choice and maturely apologized for it, Rob stood up for his rumored girlfriend and pointed the finger at, well… us.

“That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate,” he said “All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone… there are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.”

Don’t worry, Kristen. Rob has your back.

Pattinson may have a decent point overall, but this wasn’t the ideal topic to express it over.

Stewart clearly over-stepped with her reference to “rape” and can often come across as ungrateful for her lot in life. But she dealt with that issue herself in the aforementioned apology and this doesn’t seem to be a battle she needed her man to fight on her behalf.

The pair were seated next to one another during this interview, though, and it did lead to one of Stewart’s funniest points to date. After Rob finished his rants, she said:

“See, if I said that? Crucifixion. You can say so much more than me. It’s insane…you could say, ‘I just took a s***on the Queen’s face,’ and people would be like, ‘Oh, I love him! I love him!’”

Ha! She’s totally right.

Robert Pattinson Defends Kristen Stewart, Slams “Nerds on Blogs” is a post from: Uber Bitching

But it turns out she is totally into Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga? Doesn’t compute does it?

Kristen told MTV that filming Eclipse wasn’t as emotionally conflicting as New Moon so she didn’t need to bring any special music for motivation.

“I just listened to my normal music. Bella’s less tortured. She’s less conflicted. I mean … it’s the most she’s conflicted about the love triangle [but] that happens sort of at the end.”

So what’s a “normal” soundtrack for Stewart? Well, it turns out she has Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga on repeat.

“[I've] probably [been listening to] a little bit of both,” Stewart admitted. “But I don’t know, ‘The Climb’ is my theme song — and I’m sticking to it.”

Look, Kristen Stewart. It’s refreshing to find a humble celebrity that doesn’t desire fame or attention. We understand you feel that way.

But show business has also provided you with millions of dollars, the chance to make a living out of your dream and a gorgeous boyfriend. You simply must calm down a bit.

This message needs to be said because the Twilight Saga actress has gone a step too far her in anti-fame agenda. In a new interview, she compares the experience of being photographed to a rape. Yes, a rape:

“I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. I never expected that this would be my life.”

Stewart continued to dig her hole deeper:

“What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up… Your little persona is made up of all the places that people have seen you and what has been said about you.

And usually the places that I am are so overwhelming in the moment and fleeting for me – like, one second where I’ve said something stupid, that’s me, forever.”

Kinda like now, Kristen?

It really is nice to see a young star go the anti-Kim Kardashian route and shun the spotlight. But if fame is really this awful for you, K Stew, get out of the business or ligten up a bit. You can’t have it both ways.

Earlier this week, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson taped an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show that will air tomorrow afternoon.

As reported by THG, the pair met with the host beforehand and were warned that she’d ask about the status of their relationship. At this point, Rob and Kristen admitted they were dating – but said they didn’t wish to discuss it on-air.

Oprah said fine, they could shoot down the question however they wanted to when it came up.

So, when the cameras rolled and the inevitable was asked, Pattinson joked that Stewart was pregnant. That’s it. End of story. Oprah viewers will see these 10 seconds play out tomorrow, as part of an in-depth interview that reveals actual information.

What does Oprah Winfrey have to do with the status of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Allow us to explain:

These two have already taped their appearance on Oprah’s talk show (it will air on May 13, Robert’s birthday! Eek!). Prior to taking the stage, as usual, the guests met with the host and went over what questions will be asked in front of the studio audience.

Winfrey warned that the topic of Rob and Kristen’s relationship would come up. She had to “go there.” But she’d allow the couple to be coy with their answer (they actually joke about Kristen being pregnant on the air) as long as they gave Oprah the actual answer off camera.

“Both Rob and Kristen’s people and Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent,” a source told E! News.

This should close the case of Robsten forever. After all, who lies to Oprah?!?

As for the interaction between the love birds, this same insider revealed: “They weren’t super affectionate or anything. Kristen seemed a little awkward and nervous, but Rob didn’t at all. He was really friendly and was cracking jokes the entire time.”

Sounds like the personalities of each star that other sources have also confirmed. Will you tune in for their appearance on Oprah? Or, here’s a better question:

That said…my ‘little monsters’ know that I am in the middle of Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse breakdown. My love for the stories is being overshadowed by the suckiness of the movies and over-exposure of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But when I read this clip from a recent  MTV UK interview with Rob it kind of brought the romance back for me a little bit.

Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight series of movies, said he asked Kristen out frequently when they first met, but it took her a while to give in to his advances.

I do think Kristen is amazing. I wanted to work with her the moment I met her. Our chemistry was so good. I asked her out a lot but she wasn’t having it.

Rob also talked about his status as a teen heartthrob because of the Twilight fame:

I have been lucky, of course. Like, last year, if I went out, I’d have to fight to chat someone up. This year, I look exactly the same, which is really scruffy, and yet lots of people seem to have just changed their minds and decided I’m really sexy.

A.) So that explains why he ended up banging Nikki Reed during the first movie, and B.) That’s exactly what I’m saying…two years ago everyone just thought he was that skinny guy from Harry Potter that Voldermort killed.
