Better watch your back, Kim Jong Il. Angelina Jolie will totally kick your ass. Oh, and your huge ’80s sunglasses look effing ridiculous, BTW. Just saying.

Jolie was in Seoul, South Korea, today to promote her latest action thriller, Salt, which opens with a scene that takes place in a North Korean prison.

That’s not her only connection with the Korean Peninsula, of course. The actress and humanitarian is deeply worried about the people of North Korea.

The persecution defectors face when repatriated to the rogue state appalled Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.

Seoul-based officials from the U.N. refugee agency brought the star up to date on the current state of affairs there, and she was naturally appalled.

GOODWILL AMBASSADOR: Angelina Jolie is Salt. And awesome.

“They spoke a lot about the concerns about people being persecuted when they are sent back,” she said. “I’m very concerned about the people.”

Tens of thousands of people from impoverished North Korea have migrated to neighboring China in recent years, activists say, but it’s very risky.

Many are sent back due to an agreement between North Korea and China. Some 19,000 have made it to South Korea, where they are protected.

“I learned today about them gaining citizenship and crossing into South Korea,” Angelina Jolie, who was also promoting her movie, told reporters.

“The UNHCR practices quiet diplomacy in which they do more than they talk about.”

As always, kudos to Angelina for using her high-profile status to bring attention to issues and people who truly need it. She sets a great example.

After a few pictures popped up of Angie’s odd jaw line this week…every tabloid in the world is trying to figure out if the strained skin and muscles are from Botox, surgery or just no body fat from being too thin.

Dr. Elie Levine, who has not treated Jolie, says that it appears she’s “received Botox to her face and likely her neck” because she shows “no wrinkles along the sides of her eyes (the crow’s feet) despite that very large smile… and her forehead is smooth.”

Botox paralyzes muscles, causing one to “recruit other muscles that are not regularly used to twisting the neck and smiling widely” to compensate, he adds.

But Dr. Lyle M. Back believes Jolie has not received any cosmetic surgery. He credits the protrusion to Jolie’s “very thinned out skin — tented and pulled over the edge of the angle of her jaw” as the result of her having less than 10 percent body fat.

On today’s cover, In Touch interviews Brangelina’s long-time maid, Anna Kowalski, who claims Angie cheated on Brad with a movie coach and he was “oblivious.”

Perhaps for that reason, she and Brad have pulled the plug on their once-committed relationship, and Angelina is packing up for an extended stay in Europe.

There, she will adopt another child. Solo. According to the National Enquirer, that is. They say she is “throwing her energy into a life apart from Brad.” Sure.

Who needs Brad Pitt? Not Angelina Jolie, apparently, given her “affair with a teacher.” Poor guy, sitting alone and texting. He’s not gonna like when he reads this.

Angelina will begin production soon on The Tourist, which will film in Prague and Venice. Her brother James will supposedly help during the adoption process.

According to recent tabloid nonsense, Brad and Angelina’s nearly five-year relationship continues to buckle under months of stress, including a failed suicide attempt by Angelina and a frightening collapse of the beauty’s weight.

She is also said to have physically attacked Brad when he made a cheating confession about ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. LOL. What will the tabs make up next?
