It always happens in threes.

First Paul Gray, bassist for Slipknot died of an overdose. Then Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead, possibly by accidental prescription drug overdose and today the world lost child star / grown up mess Gary Coleman.

Gary Coleman, the child star of the smash 1970s TV sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” whose later career was marred by medical and legal problems, has died after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42.

Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank said life support was terminated and Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. MDT. Coleman, with his sparkling eyes and perfect comic timing, became a star after “Diff’rent Strokes” debuted in 1978. He played the younger brother in a pair of African-American siblings adopted by a wealthy white man.

Snooki Charged in Teen Drunk Driving Death

If a drunken guido’s punch didn’t teach “Jersey Shore’s” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the dangers of extreme alcohol use than having been charged in the drunk driving death of high school classmate, Michael Truncali, six years ago should have.

“We’re not out to trash Nicole.” Michelle Truncali told Radar Online. “I never blamed her for what happened. She was a 16-year-old (sic). I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth.”

Radar Online reports that Snooki was charged in 2004 with selling alcohol to the minor who died while driving drunk later.

According to the site, Snooki sold alcohol to Truncali at a party held at her home. Later that night, the teen died when he rolled his car early Thanksgiving morning. Reportedly, his blood alcohol level was .18, more than twice the legal limit.

After several months of investigation, Snooki was charged for prohibited sale of alcoholic beverages, since she had charged a fee for the alcohol.

Snooki’s mother, Helen Polizzi, was at home the night of the party, as well. Police told the site that she had cooperated with the investigation and there was insufficient evidence to prosecute her. She refused to speak to Radar Online without a lawyer present.

The site claims that a source who attended the party says the adults were drinking alongside the minors.

Truncali’s parents hope that coming forward now will help warn teens of the dangers of underage drinking and driving under the influence. Additionally, they believe the whole story hasn’t been told and they just want the truth.

Brittany Murphy Cause Of Death: It Was Preventable

Brittany Murphy’s cause of death has been determined — an accidental death caused by “community acquired pneumonia,” iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.

Sources tell TMZ a man who worked at Brittany Murphy’s house has told the Coroner’s Office that someone would deliver a sealed, manila envelope to the house every Friday filled with prescription medications in bottles. The name on the envelope — “Lola.”

The Coroner actually revisited Brittnay’s house and questioned her husband and mother as to why she wasn’t treated at all for the pneumonia or the severe stomach cramps she had the week before she died. Her tragic death could have been prevented with the proper medical care. And of course, without so many unprescribed drugs.
