Cleveland's WOIO was shut down by feds when they tried to get in on a federal corruption case.

Not to be discouraged, the news station decides to use puppets to recreate the court scenes using wiretaps from the case and court transcripts.

With subject matter including herpes, mob connections, and prostitution, this may be one of the most disturbing things ever put on television.

At least there's a squirrel as a sideline reporter?

The FBI just released the grand jury indictment of a man who allegedly hacked into the email accounts of 50 victims, including dozens of celebrities.

The indictment was issued against 35-year-old Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville, Florida.  He was arrested this morning by FBI agents, on charges of identity theft, wiretapping and other charges.

According to federal officials, Chaney would use public information to access email accounts of his alleged victims, and then access computers and cell phones under the control of his victims.

Some of the alleged victims include Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, and celebrity stylist Simone Harouche. Some of the ill-gotten materials included naked photos.

As TMZ first reported, law enforcement sources tell us Chaney allegedly acted alone, and got no money for his alleged misdeeds — rather, he did it for the thrill.

Chaney faces 121 years in federal prison if convicted on all counts.

Wow I dont think that was worth it!  Scary that he could do that though with such big celebrities. He better have a top criminal lawyer on his side.

Palm Desert police conducted a battery investigation at the scene at about 1 a.m. on Dec. 12. “The victim desired prosecution,” says Sgt. Joe Borja of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. “The incident is being investigated as a misdemeanor.”

A source close to Lohan, 24, says the actress denies pushing the woman first. The staffer scolded Lohan for allegedly returning past curfew after spending the evening at a local bar, TMZ reports.

It isn’t known whether she had been drinking; the Betty Ford Center regularly tests patients for alcohol and drugs.

Sgt. Borja explains that no arrest was made because the incident didn’t occur in front of an officer.

Lohan, 24, has been at the Rancho Mirage, Calif., facility since Sept. 28, and was ordered by a Beverly Hills judge to remain there until at least Jan. 3.

It remains to be seen whether the incident would be deemed a violation of Lohan’s probation terms stemming from her ongoing DUI case. A violation could send her back to jail.

As of Tuesday, Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden Fox, who’s overseeing her case, has not been notified, according to a court source.

Joe Jackson unleashed a legal action suit against his son’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray in August this year, claiming that he administered a fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol, which led to the singer’s death in June 2009.

Joe alleges he was being supported by his son at the time of his passing, a claim which provides him the necessary legal standing to pursue a wrongful death suit. He is said to be seeking damages between $10 million and $500 million for loss of support, emotional distress and “loss of comfort, aid, society and companionship.”

At a federal court hearing on Monday, November 1, Jackson’s attorney, Brian Oxman, agreed to dismiss a claim alleging the King of Pop’s rights were violated under the Americans with Disabilities Act – prompting U.S. District Judge John F. Walter to rule the remaining issues needed to be handled in a state court.

The federal judge also said he would not delay the case until after the January 2011 criminal trial of Dr. Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the “Thriller” hitmaker’s June 2009 death.

Prosecutors ended final arguments, allowing the judge to hand the case to the 12-member jury that will decide whether Smith’s companion, Howard K. Stern, and her two doctors, Khristine Eroshevich and Sandeep Kapoor, are sent to prison.

Smith, the fashion model and TV actress who was famous for marrying an 89-year-old billionaire, died in Florida in 2007 at age 39 from an accidental prescription drug overdose.

Stern and the doctors are not charged in her death but with unlawfully providing drugs and controlled substances to a known addict. If convicted, they could be sentenced to more than five years in prison.

All three have pleaded not guilty, and defense attorneys have offered several arguments, including that the case might never have gone to trial had Smith not been a Hollywood star.

Defense lawyers have said their clients cared for Smith and would not harm her. They add that the prosecution wants to paint her as an out-of-control drug addict when, they say, she used drugs to help her sleep and control severe pain.

Prosecutors said the defendants conspired to get Smith anti-depressants, muscle relaxers and anti-anxiety drugs by using false names and other means when they knew Smith had a history of drug problems. Smith was first treated for addiction in 1996, they said.

Judge Robert Perry last week threw out some of the charges against the defendants and criticized the prosecution for being overly aggressive.

TMZ has learned the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star is set to spill her guts in a videotaped deposition in her bitter legal war with her ex-husband Kevin Maher.

As we previously reported, Maher is suing Staub for $5 million — claiming she damaged his reputation by falsely claiming he killed her dog, raped her on a bed of broken glass and stuck a loaded gun into her genital region.

Staub has denied ever making those claims in the first place — and argued that Maher’s reputation is already so damaged … that she shouldn’t have to fork over a dime.

Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's embattled personal physician, will likely turn himself as police prepare to file charges in connection with the King of Pop's death.

According to TMZ, Murray is already in Los Angeles (his home base is Houston) and plans to surrender to the authorities Wednesday morning in an L.A. courtroom.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney will almost certainly charge Dr. Conrad Murray with involuntary manslaughter, and that may happen as early as this week.

Charges would have to be filed before any court appearance, so if Murray plans to surrender tomorrow morning, the D.A.'s office may charge him at that time.

Many times, defendants (or their lawyers) arrange for a surrender, rather than face the costly, embarrassing spectacle of being arrested and taken into custody.

It's unclear if Murray will be released on bail when and if he is charged.

Dr. Conrad Murray will almost certainly enter a plea of not guilty to involuntary manslaughter (or whatever charge he faces) and begin preparing his defense.

We say this because he has already retained a new attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, who successfully defended a doctor client for fatally administering Propofol.

Murray's use of the anesthetic to treat Jackson will form the crux of the D.A.'s case that he be held criminally liable for the death of the music icon June 25.

The Michael Jackson investigation has taken half a year to complete, and officials are determined not to blow it. It should be very interesting to watch unfold.
