Russell Brand Does Not Want Wedding Presents

Although Russell Brand has been quoted as saying that fiance Katy Perry is a “bridezilla”, and claiming that the big affair would be ‘clothing optional’ the comedian/actor is serious about one thing. They will not be drawing up a wedding registry and guests will be asked to NOT bring gifts.

“Given that Katy and I both have good jobs, we don’t want any presents,” Brand, 34, told PEOPLE at last week’s premiere of his latest film, Get Him to the Greek, in Los Angeles. “It would be a massive indulgence.”

Thank you. It’s not often we hear good sense from most of our favorite B-listers. In fact, even most A-listers use weddings as a chance to get as much SWAG as possible.
