Kristen Stewart Turned Down Rob Pattinson…A Lot
It’s all about Robert Pattinson and The Real Housewives today at HollywoodBackwash. I promise to try to be more diverse tomorrow.
That said…my ‘little monsters’ know that I am in the middle of Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse breakdown. My love for the stories is being overshadowed by the suckiness of the movies and over-exposure of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But when I read this clip from a recent MTV UK interview with Rob it kind of brought the romance back for me a little bit.
Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight series of movies, said he asked Kristen out frequently when they first met, but it took her a while to give in to his advances.
I do think Kristen is amazing. I wanted to work with her the moment I met her. Our chemistry was so good. I asked her out a lot but she wasn’t having it.
Rob also talked about his status as a teen heartthrob because of the Twilight fame:
I have been lucky, of course. Like, last year, if I went out, I’d have to fight to chat someone up. This year, I look exactly the same, which is really scruffy, and yet lots of people seem to have just changed their minds and decided I’m really sexy.
A.) So that explains why he ended up banging Nikki Reed during the first movie, and B.) That’s exactly what I’m saying…two years ago everyone just thought he was that skinny guy from Harry Potter that Voldermort killed.
