Can i as a guy get away with wearing gladiator sandals?

I am a 26 year old guy and i like wearing sandals. I love the gladiator fashion but am worried about what people will think of me if i wore gladiator sandals out and about. currently i have one pair of criss cross sandals that have one strap that goes across the front of the foot, and one that crosses around the middle, that meets at the back of the heel where the buckle is. They are dark brown, so they look unisex, I wear them for washing my car. But my favourite sandals i own are a pair of gadiators that i picked up in light brown. I have worn them out only with jeans but get shy to show them completely. They are not the long ones that go up the ankle but they do have a few straps accross the front of the foot, and 2 straps that go behind the heel, as they are not closed at the back. They feel so comfortable on and are so light to wear. Can i get away with pulling them off? Thanks to all in advance.

I like you like wearing sandals. I wear sandals almost all year round. I have about 25 pairs and most of the are leather and strappy in design. I also have a few rope sandals. I have a few gladiator sandals which I bought in Greece while on holidays. They are very comfy to wear (one reason why I wear them.) I can understand the reason why you are cautious and worry what other people may think. I was like that once but I came through it by telling myself that they are only shoes and I like the style. So put your gladiator sandals on end enjoy the experience. If you have a photo of your sandal would like to see your taste in sandals style.
