Is it ok to wear thongs (flip flops) to a wedding if your feet are swollen?
I'm meant to be going to a wedding (just the ceremony, I'm skipping the reception) on sunday and I will be 36 weeks pregnant. None of my proper shoes fit me because my feet are full of fluid so do you think people will think badly of me for wearing thongs to the 'formal' wedding (I am not even wearing a dress because I don't have one that fits) I can miss the wedding if it's going to be a problem
Buying new shoes is not an option due to living in remote outback australia, I am flying to the city the night before the wedding and in Western Australia there are very strict trading hours so therefore I cannot buy any shoes the night that I get there and the wedding is the next day
sure you can! wear whatever thongs are most comfortable for you, don't worry about if it's 'formal' enough or not. nobody will even notice... and even if they did, they would see that you are 36 weeks pregnant and they will understand!
