How to clean a suede and leather purse?
Hi. I asked this a few days ago and got some good answers. Im asking again in hopes of getting more/other answers.

For the suede portions, I usually try to use a rubber gummy eraser first. Believe it or not, it often removes surface grime, scuffs and in general brightens up the nap without making a water stain or stiffening the nap like water based products will. If it is really dirty or has some serious stains (like food), dry carpet cleaning granules like both Resolve and Capture both work wonders without the water stains, too, just agitate into the nap, wait for it to dry and either brush or vacuum it off.
For leather, you can buy cleaners designed for shoes and purses at the shoe repair stores and discounters, but I find them more expensive than cleaners for leather furniture. For example, Jubilee is a furniture, appliance and leather furniture cleaner (multi-surface) which I buy to clean my leather wing back chair. It cleans, polishes and protects with one spray and wipe off with a soft cloth. I use it on purses, shoes, boots, leather garments and coats. It also protects leather from water staining and scuffs. Plus it is only $1.99 for a can that lasts forever. I find it at drug and large discount stores in the cleaning aisle by furniture polishes.
