Adam Levine Vs The VMAs
Adam Levine might like the paparazzi...but he's NOT a fan of the VMAs!
Despite the fact that he received a nomination this year, Maroon 5 frontman/Voice coach Adam Levine had less than nice things to say about MTV's Video Music Awards on Twitter.
Here's what he tweeted about the event:
"the VMA's. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I'm drawing a line in the sand. F--k you VMA's."
And just an hour after the tweet, he tweeted an apology wrote the following:
"Still waiting to have my Jerry Macguire mission statement moment of deep regret…’ Not happening. Phew!"
And here's what MTV wrote in response:
"Soooo you'll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!"
Nice to see that MTV is having a sense of humor about the whole thing. Guess we'll see if Adam ever decides to tweet an apology...and if he's ever invited back to the VMAs. Ha!

Wrong Adam. MTV doesn’t care about music, no matter what day of the year it is. Why on earth would Adam apologize? He obviously meant what he said. The VMAs are a self-loving farce. MTV is craptacular.
The show did suckass this year. Its my last time watching what a hotmess.
He’s 100% right, and it isn’t about last night’s show or any other VMA’s. It’s about the fact that MTV is no longer a MUSIC television station. It has become a joke of a reality TV station. Sure, there’s MTV2, etc. but when the main station does NOT broadcast mainly MUSIC, then they are no longer the arbitrator of what is or what is NOT a good music video!!!!!!!!! MTV has betrayed music and is a joke.
